The crater mines

A cold and desolate place, void of all life above ground. Many scholars say that

the crater was formed eons ago when the realm was new and uninhabited, leaving

an untouched ecosystem of pure energy.

The mines originally opened to farm basic oceanic minerals, until later a rare

crystal-like ore was found. It was at this time that King Undewyn ordered the

mine to be shut down and turned into a preserve. Reports given to the King

described the true discovery of rare subterranean life that was found nowhere

else in the realm.

However, when King Marcus Devereux rose to power the mines reopened to

harvest the rare blue ore, that was found to have magical properties.
